I just found it and I love how honest it is.“It seems like all my friends, all my coworkers, all the teens I minister to have this amazing relationship with God, and I’m just… struggling. They tweet about how beautiful and alive God is in their lives and follow up every good piece of news with God is so good, while deep down I’m kinda wondering if he really is. But the worst part about it is I convince myself that I’m the only one who feels distanced from God.”I know this feeling so well. To be honest, sometimes it feels unreal when I walk into lifeteen, because I feel smaller because im not at their level, or thats what goes through my head. It either creates anger or confusion, that they just know for a fact who God is and I screw up more than they do with my relationship with him (even though its not true). Especially when you grew up a little differently. For me even it has created jelousy in the past. It was like someone would gasp if I said that I’ve had doubts. thankyou for putting things straight during our lifeteen talks.We respect and love you as a youth minister.

Liebes Klinikteam,zunächst wünsche ich Ihnen allen ein frohes Weihnachtsfest und ein gutes, gesundes und weiterhin erfolgreiches neues Jahr.Nun bin ich seit dem 22.12. wieder zu Hause und möchte mich bei Ihnen allen ganz herzlich für ihre großartige, liebevolle, warmherzige und kompetente Unterstützung bedanken, die ich während meines Aufenthaltes in der Klinik erfahren habe. Die 2 Wochen habe mir sehr gut getan, ich habe Abstand zu allem gewonnen und mit den hilfreichen Tipps und dem Wissen aus den Seminaren und Gesprächen bin ich gut gerüstet für den Alltag und zuversichtlich, das ich die Migräne reduzieren bzw. diese anders wahrnehmen kann (dies hat sich schon in den ersten beiden Tagen zu Hause gezeigt-Entspannungstraining sei Dank !).Es war ein tolles Gefühl, unter Menschen zu sein, die einen während einer Attacke ohne lange Erklärungen verstehen, weil sie selbst wissen, wie man sich dann fühlt. Ich erfahre zwar in meinem Umfeld auch vergleichsweise viel Verständnis, aber im Umgang mit anderen MigränikerInnen und Ihnen allen, liebes Klinikteam, erfährt dieses Verständnis noch eine vielfache Steigerung und natürlich ist nicht zuletzt immer Hilfe da, wenn sie benötigt.Nochmals ein großes DANKE !Herzliche Grüße aus BonnMichaela Herzog
